Sextant Marketing Hires Dana Katz as Director of Media Strategy

Dana Katz brings years of experience in media strategy and planning to Sextant where she will guide multi-channel campaigns for the marketing agency’s higher education clients 

Sextant Marketing, a leader in full-service digital marketing and consultancy in higher education, has hired Dana Katz as Director of Media Strategy. Dana, a subject matter expert in media strategy and planning, is a seasoned professional with years of experience in multi-channel and strategic campaigns.

Sextant, one of Tampa Bay’s fastest growing businesses, hired Dana to further enhance the comprehensive marketing services the Ybor City-based company offers to colleges and universities across the country.

Dana comes to the job well-versed in all media channels: TV (spot and national), OTT, programmatic display, radio, streaming radio, print, and out of home. A graduate of the Mass Communications master’s program at the University of Florida, she has worked 18 years in marketing and advertising, including experience in the automotive, telecommunications, quick service restaurants and economic development industries.

As a Media Director with AT&T, Dana managed strategy, planning and execution of Internet, U-verse, DirecTV and Mobility products.

As Director of Media Strategy, Dana will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of multi-channel campaigns for Sextant’s higher education clients. She will lead media teams, media partners, channel affiliates and collaborate with peers in communicating the strategies, implementation and effectiveness of Sextant’s media.

Dana will collaborate with Sextant leadership, providing strategic guidance to drive the company’s overall media strategy.
