Position Summary:

The Client s Manager is an integral role within Sextant Marketing.  This person is responsible for the overall engagement, satisfaction, and development of the higher education client. The Client Services Manager is accountable for the operational strategy of their clients, accountable for meeting established goals, and being a conduit to the rest of the team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sr. Client Services Director, the manager position will be responsible for:

  • Acting as liaison between internal/external clients, partner agencies, execution team, and management to ensure flawless communications and program execution.
  • Working directly with the client to set periodic marketing, inquiry, and enrollment targets, budget and lead goals, and develop strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Owning and communicating client background and objectives to internal Sextant Marketing teams and both lead and contribute to the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Presenting and interpreting analytics, media, and CRM reporting to optimize campaigns to maximize quality lead delivery and exceed cost per enrollment targets.
  • Helping drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and aligning data with client and company goals and communicating these results – providing suggestions based on the findings/assumptions.
  • Identifying target audiences, developing messaging and creative strategies, and media/marketing segmentation to reach and convert individuals into student enrollments.
  • Conducting regular status meetings, documentation such as agendas, status reports, meeting notes, and strategy briefs to ensure client satisfaction and progress toward achieving designated objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with client’s institutional brand standards.
  • Working with Sextant Marketing leadership to develop and promote expanded service lines.
  • Managing development and execution of annual plans in conjunction with other Sextant Marketing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Collaborating with others to assess, develop, and communicate KPI performance to internal and external stakeholders, supporting improvement plans as necessary.
  • Implementing consistent performance reporting internally and externally.
  • Serving as SME for Client, industry, program market, operations, brand strategy, and curriculum.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Demonstrated track record of successful organic growth and strong business performance.
  • Strong entrepreneurial and resourceful mindset, capable of both seeing the bigger picture and managing the details required to deliver assigned work on time and within client and Sextant’s
  • A “player/coach” mentality, adept at both leading others and contributing to the work and the team.
  • Familiarity with sales funnels and performance analysis (forecasting and optimization).
  • Some experience in planning, executing, measuring and optimizing integrated marketing and lead generation campaigns, and a history of achieving lead goals through the identification of unique audiences and targeted campaigns within strict budget management parameters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes strength in business/corporate writing and conveyance of desired outcomes.
  • Executive presence / presentation development and delivery skills to executives and leadership both inward and client facing.
  • Proficiency in the following software packages and tools:
    • Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planner)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of core paid media applications such as but not limited to, AdWords, Bing, Facebook/Meta platforms and LinkedIn and concepts of programmatic

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of client relationship management experience, preferably with executive-level client contacts (bonus points for higher education category experience).
  • Previous experience contributing to the business development process (including RFP’s) desirable
  • Must have strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and be fiscally responsible.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills a must.
  • Referenceable experience working directly with Presidents, Provosts, Deans, Vice Presidents, and other applicable leadership in higher education facing industries preferred.

This is a position where hands-on digital media operations allow for project delivery to the higher education & corporate-focused clients within Sextant Marketing’s portfolio.  The Media Specialist participates in the planning, development, and implementation of digital media programs or projects which may include paid search, paid social media and programmatic media campaigns in support of clients’ marketing goals and objectives. This position provides an opportunity to engage across the organization providing data-driven actionable insights and reporting.  The Media Specialist will collaborate with peers, clients, and partners in communicating the effectiveness of our marketing and student recruitment efforts.  The optimal candidate will have experience in digital lead generation and customer acquisition as well as experience in data management and performance reporting.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The Media Specialist reports to the Media Director and will be responsible for providing hands-on management and strategic guidance in bolstering Sextant’s media practice.   This person will be responsible for periodic media planning, daily cross-channel performance analysis, budget and campaign optimization, strict budget management, reporting, and driving growth in our media channels on behalf of our clients.  Examples of these responsibilities would include:

  • Set-up, manage and optimize digital media campaigns including Social Media, Paid Search, Display, Native and Video
  • Ensure all campaigns achieve lead goals while maintaining strict adherence to budget
  • Discover expansion and growth opportunities through continuous research and analysis of keywords, audiences, channels, technology and ad formats
  • Compile data and produce periodic client-ready media reports providing deep analysis and actionable insights
  • Maintain detailed creative specification documentation and ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood by cross-functional teams (Account Managers, Marketing Managers, Project Management and Creative)
  • Manage and maintain weekly media budget tracking report
  • Analyze campaign data, identify trends and act on opportunities to increase performance while ensuring a positive return on ad spend and other key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., Account Manager and Marketing Managers) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
  • Assist with the creation of monthly invoice packets to ensure a constant flow of invoice delivery to the clients and media vendors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Experience with external media tools and ability to acquire, analyze and develop strategies based on competitive markets and media spend
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools/software, such as but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Understanding and experience with SEO/SEM campaign management and associated software such as MOZ, SEMRush, and other similar tools/software.
  • The ability to analyze, report, and communicate media performance to internal teams and expertly present to external clients.
  • Understanding of and working knowledge of web Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Drupal.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The Team Manager will be responsible for the successful performance of assigned team members.  The Manager will be responsible for scheduling, time management, productivity, performance, and compliance to ensure the goals and objectives of partner universities are met or exceeded.  As a team manager, you are expected to employ an entrepreneurial mentality to actively engage with our partners, and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success and the delivery of a student centric experience on behalf of our partners.  Thus, the candidate will support all aspects related to the leadership and management of the assigned team(s).  Examples of these responsibilities would include:

  • Work directly with the client to set periodic enrollment targets, lead qualification and conversion goals, and develop strategies for achieving these goals.
  • Clearly communicate client objective/performance goals to internal Sextant Marketing teams/ Enrollment Advisors.
  • Interpret analytics reporting to optimize campaigns, agent performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular status meetings to ensure client satisfaction and progress toward achieving designated objectives.

The Enrollment Management Advisor will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and top-tier experience is delivered with each interaction.  In addition, they will be responsible for meeting all enrollment benchmarks associated with the assigned university.  The position will require flexibility related to scheduling as day, evening and weekend coverage may be required during the enrollment cycle.  The optimal candidate will have prior ground and/or online enrollment management experience, strong project management skills and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.  This role will work closely with our internal enrollment management team as well as our partners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The Enrollment Management Advisor will be responsible for engaging with prospects and applicants through the entire recruitment cycle.  The Advisor will work with a pipeline (database) of prospective students and applicants from initial inquiry through handoff to the Student Success coach at the beginning of the academic term.  As an Advisor, you are expected to employ an entrepreneurial mentality to actively engage with our partners and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program’s success while delivering a student centric experience.  Thus, the candidate will support all aspects of the new student enrollment funnel/cycle.   Examples of these responsibilities would include:

  • Qualify and evaluate new prospect inquiries to ensure the candidate meets the defined qualifications for the indicated program of interest. This will be accomplished through a discovery conversation with the individual.
  • Guide and assist the prospect through the completion of the application and the collection of all associated documents needed to complete the student file for review (transcripts, resume, letters of recommendation, etc.). The goal is to guide the student through this process, so they are ready for acceptance review and then to move them to the next phase of the enrollment funnel as an accepted student.
  • Day to day management of your assigned enrollment pipeline (book of business) to ensure that appropriate engagement and follow up strategies are deployed for those assigned to you.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise related to the degree program(s) and the university partner that you are supporting. This will include such items as admissions requirements, curriculum, program structure, noted facts related to the university and the faculty associated with the degree in question, program value, industry trends related to the program, etc.
  • Attending and leading virtual and in-person events as scheduled by the partners (these may occur outside of the normal schedule).
  • Collaborates with internal/external team members to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Able to identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and the ability to effectively communicate these.
  • Communicates directly with prospective students and related partners in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Candidate must show desire to lead, effectively manage multiple tasks and grow within the role.

Position Summary: 

The Marketing Manager is an integral role within Sextant Marketing, providing customer-focused marketing solutions, while supporting the team in strategic and tactical execution of marketing activities. This is a position where hands-on digital marketing operations allows for project delivery to the higher education & corporate-focused clients within Sextant Marketing’s portfolio. This role will work closely with the COO, Vice President of Marketing Operations, Vice President of Client Services, and associated staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle of client marketing campaigns. Thus, the candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the digital marketing funnel and aid in or be responsible for the completion of timely projects for key clients.

Examples of these responsibilities would include:

  • Implement and measure digital marketing campaigns, as well as assisting in a wide variety of marketing-related tasks from creative, to execution and reporting.
  • Responsibilities will range from web content writing and publishing, to collateral creation and fulfillment vendor management, to marketing automation campaign management and reporting.
  • Manage the social media strategy for the company and our respective clients as applicable.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Publish blog articles, add new content and provide maintenance to client websites.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Candidate must show desire to learn, take on multiple tasks and grow within the role that allows for learning and experience in a range of marketing disciplines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 

  • Have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This position will work with the marketing team, account management, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in any of the following disciplines is needed: email marketing (large scale) and Internet marketing, social media marketing, web development, creative design, vendor management, and campaign analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfort with being on the phone and communicating through emails.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Paint.net.
  • Advanced knowledge of web analytics tools/software, such as but not limited to: Google Analytics, Omniture, Webmaster Tools, Optimizely, etc.
  • Understanding of and working knowledge of web Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Understanding and experience with SEO campaign management and associated software such as MOZ, SEMRush, Raven and/or equivalent.
  • Expert at organizational management and applying good judgment on business endeavors.

Education & Experience Requirements

The Associate Graphic Designer is an integral role within Sextant Marketing, developing direct response marketing creative that supports the digital and traditional marketing strategies of the Client Services team. This is a position where hands-on development of banner ads, html emails, landing pages, video/animation content, brochures, web pages, and more allows for project delivery to the higher education & corporate-focused clients within Sextant Marketing’s portfolio. This role will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing Services and the Marketing Services team of designers, copywriters, marketing managers and project managers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The Associate Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle of client marketing campaigns through the development of creative assets. Thus, the candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the digital marketing funnel and aid in or become responsible for the completion of timely creative assets for key clients. Examples of these responsibilities would include:

  • Ability to conceptualize a creative idea/message from the information presented in a creative brief.
  • Learn to implement best practices in direct response digital media.
  • Maintain an image library for clients based on brand guidelines and optimize images for the requested medium.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new content, imagery and messaging for clients within our portfolio.
  • Stay up-to-date on the ad unit availability and ad specifications for digital platforms such as Google Display Network, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snap Chat, and more.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality, while meeting deadlines.
