Position Summary:
This position blends the digital marketing generalist with a focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts in support of our Higher Education clients. The SEO Marketing Manager will first be the functional lead for SEO strategies, management, and insights and then secondarily focus on other aspects of digital marketing, providing customer-focused solutions while supporting the team in the tactical execution of marketing activities. This position will require the ability to collect, interpret, and communicate marketing data to ultimately deploy solutions meeting the Client’s need based on data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate can thrive in a fast-paced, return goal-focused environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The SEO Marketing Manager will support the entire cycle of client marketing campaigns, with a deep emphasis on SEO aspects of the campaigns. Thus, the candidate will be exposed to the entire spectrum of the digital marketing funnel and aid in or become responsible for completing timely projects for key clients. Examples of these responsibilities would include:
- Collaborate with others within the marketing department to develop and manage SEO strategy.
- Execute tests, collect, and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI from SEO and digital marketing campaigns.
- Work with editorial and marketing team members to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing.
- Write compelling and high-quality website content and page descriptions to improve website search results.
- Closely collaborate with the web development team(s) to ensure SEO best practices are properly followed throughout website content.
- Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and optimization for new SEO keywords to use throughout the multiple websites and marketing materials.
- Change website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Monitor search algorithms set by search engines and integrated marketing trends to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape.
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
- Supports the execution and measurement of digital marketing campaigns across various advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Moz, Facebook/Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Responsible for developing and deploying multi-channel audience marketing campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and growth of university clients.
- Assist the Marketing Director, VP of Marketing, and client service team with marketing needs associated with stakeholder goals.
- Write briefs and communicate closely with their manager, marketing leaders, and teams to plan and implement the best solutions.
- Develop needs-based, differentiated messaging and content focusing on cohesive solution narratives for our target segments and channels.
- Provide weekly status reports to the designated team members, leaders, and stakeholders while meeting with stakeholders for project and campaign alignment and approval while reporting progress.
- Respond to client’s needs and requests as they arise.
- Ability to shift focus to serve a variety of organizational and marketing initiatives and provide marketing solutions to various challenges.
- Research stakeholders’ services, plans, competitors, and target markets.
- Deliver completed projects on time and within budget.
- Participate in pitches for new projects.
- Understand consumer personas and how to adjust content to fit changing needs.
- Work independently and communicate to leadership and other team members key project details.
- Implement and measure digital marketing campaigns, as well as assist in various marketing-related tasks from creative to execution and reporting.
- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Candidate must show the desire to learn, take on multiple tasks, and grow within the role that allows for learning and experience in a range of marketing disciplines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proven experience as a SEO Manager, SEO Specialist, Marketing Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
- Experience with SEO reporting tools, such as MOZ, SEMRush, Linkgraph, Search Consoles, and similar.
- Have a powerful desire to master the marketing tools and strategies needed to take integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
- This position will work with the marketing team, account management, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to assist in launching campaigns – on time and within budget.
- Knowledge and exposure in the following disciplines are needed: email marketing (large scale) and Internet marketing, social media marketing, SEO, web development, creative design, vendor management, and campaign analysis.
- Excellent communication skills; comfort with being on the phone, video conferencing, and communicating through emails.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Paint.net.
- Positive attitude with an optimistic and energetic disposition.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Applicable experience and certifications may negate degree requirements.
- 3-5 years of work experience

- Basic social media experience, personal or professional, focused on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Snap Chat, and Pinterest – additional platforms a plus.

Position Summary:
The Client s Manager is an integral role within Sextant Marketing. This person is responsible for the overall engagement, satisfaction, and development of the higher education client. The Client Services Manager is accountable for the operational strategy of their clients, accountable for meeting established goals, and being a conduit to the rest of the team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr. Client Services Director, the manager position will be responsible for:
- Acting as liaison between internal/external clients, partner agencies, execution team, and management to ensure flawless communications and program execution.
- Working directly with the client to set periodic marketing, inquiry, and enrollment targets, budget and lead goals, and develop strategies to achieve these goals.
- Owning and communicating client background and objectives to internal Sextant Marketing teams and both lead and contribute to the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Presenting and interpreting analytics, media, and CRM reporting to optimize campaigns to maximize quality lead delivery and exceed cost per enrollment targets.
- Helping drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and aligning data with client and company goals and communicating these results – providing suggestions based on the findings/assumptions.
- Identifying target audiences, developing messaging and creative strategies, and media/marketing segmentation to reach and convert individuals into student enrollments.
- Conducting regular status meetings, documentation such as agendas, status reports, meeting notes, and strategy briefs to ensure client satisfaction and progress toward achieving designated objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with client’s institutional brand standards.
- Working with Sextant Marketing leadership to develop and promote expanded service lines.
- Managing development and execution of annual plans in conjunction with other Sextant Marketing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Collaborating with others to assess, develop, and communicate KPI performance to internal and external stakeholders, supporting improvement plans as necessary.
- Implementing consistent performance reporting internally and externally.
- Serving as SME for Client, industry, program market, operations, brand strategy, and curriculum.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of client relationship management experience, preferably with executive-level client contacts (bonus points for higher education category experience).
- Previous experience contributing to the business development process (including RFP’s) desirable
- Must have strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and be fiscally responsible.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills a must.
- Referenceable experience working directly with Presidents, Provosts, Deans, Vice Presidents, and other applicable leadership in higher education facing industries preferred.

The Team Manager will serve as the team’s primary contact and guide in the establishment of daily assignments, goal, and objectives. The Team Manager will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and top-tier experience is delivered with each interaction on behalf of our partners. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring the team meets all benchmarks associated with the assigned university. The position will require flexibility related to scheduling as day, evening and weekend coverage may be required. The optimal candidate will have prior traditional and/or online enrollment management experience, strong project management skills and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service. This role will work closely with our internal enrollment management team as well as our partners.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Team Manager will be responsible for the successful performance of assigned team members. The Manager will be responsible for scheduling, time management, productivity, performance, and compliance to ensure the goals and objectives of partner universities are met or exceeded. As a team manager, you are expected to employ an entrepreneurial mentality to actively engage with our partners, and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success and the delivery of a student centric experience on behalf of our partners. Thus, the candidate will support all aspects related to the leadership and management of the assigned team(s). Examples of these responsibilities would include:
- Work directly with the client to set periodic enrollment targets, lead qualification and conversion goals, and develop strategies for achieving these goals.
- Clearly communicate client objective/performance goals to internal Sextant Marketing teams/ Enrollment Advisors.
- Interpret analytics reporting to optimize campaigns, agent performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular status meetings to ensure client satisfaction and progress toward achieving designated objectives.
- Ensure compliance with client’s institutional policies and procedures.
- Manage Enrollment Advisors engagement with prospects and applicants throughout the qualification and or recruitment process.

The position will require flexibility related to scheduling as day, evening and weekend coverage may be required during the enrollment cycle. The optimal candidate will have prior ground and/or online enrollment management experience, strong project management skills and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service. This role will work closely with our internal enrollment management team as well as our partners.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Enrollment Management Advisor will be responsible for engaging with prospects and applicants through the entire recruitment cycle. The Advisor will work with a pipeline (database) of prospective students and applicants from initial inquiry through handoff to the Student Success coach at the beginning of the academic term. As an Advisor, you are expected to employ an entrepreneurial mentality to actively engage with our partners and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program’s success while delivering a student centric experience. Thus, the candidate will support all aspects of the new student enrollment funnel/cycle. Examples of these responsibilities would include:
- Qualify and evaluate new prospect inquiries to ensure the candidate meets the defined qualifications for the indicated program of interest. This will be accomplished through a discovery conversation with the individual.
- Guide and assist the prospect through the completion of the application and the collection of all associated documents needed to complete the student file for review (transcripts, resume, letters of recommendation, etc.). The goal is to guide the student through this process, so they are ready for acceptance review and then to move them to the next phase of the enrollment funnel as an accepted student.
- Day to day management of your assigned enrollment pipeline (book of business) to ensure that appropriate engagement and follow up strategies are deployed for those assigned to you.
- Maintain subject matter expertise related to the degree program(s) and the university partner that you are supporting. This will include such items as admissions requirements, curriculum, program structure, noted facts related to the university and the faculty associated with the degree in question, program value, industry trends related to the program, etc.
- Attending and leading virtual and in-person events as scheduled by the partners (these may occur outside of the normal schedule).
- Collaborates with internal/external team members to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
- Able to identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and the ability to effectively communicate these.
- Communicates directly with prospective students and related partners in a professional and courteous manner.
- Candidate must show desire to lead, effectively manage multiple tasks and grow within the role.

Thus, the candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the digital marketing funnel and aid in or become responsible for the completion of timely creative assets for key clients. - Ability to conceptualize a creative idea/message from the information presented in a creative brief.
