The People Success Specialist brings Carnegie’s People Success programs to life — owning onboarding for both new hires and internal transfers, serving as the company’s primary onboarding and training facilitator, and driving employee engagement and well-being initiatives soup to nuts, from planning through execution and delivery. This role blends hands-on program ownership with the operational execution to back it up, using AI tools alongside day-to-day coordination to move quickly and stay organized.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in the details, is comfortable putting AI tools to work to move faster and stay organized, and is just as confident running a session in front of a room as they are managing the operational pieces behind it.
What You’ll Own

- Own the new hire and internal transfer onboarding process end to end — project setup in Asana, communication with managers, calendar invites, and compliance tracking
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and other People Success programs, creating engaging employee experiences through thoughtful planning, delivery, and follow-up.
- Lead staff change updates — job title updates, job description changes, manager transitions — ensuring accurate updates land across systems and resources
- Own job description workflows, maintaining accurate records and consistency in title and format
- Leverage AI tools and technology to streamline People Success workflows, improve operational efficiency, automate routine tasks, and continuously enhance People Success processes.
- Employee Engagement & Well-Being

- Build tools that power engagement — Google Forms, surveys, and other resources that gather input and drive participation
- Track employee initiative completion, engagement participation, and training metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen connection, culture, and employee engagement across the company.
- Own company-wide communications (Slack, email, calendar invites) to keep employees informed and engaged
- Partner with managers and cross-functional teams to deliver consistent employee experiences across onboarding, learning, and engagement initiatives.
